About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Category Director to lead our Europe Category team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional offer strategies that drive category sales growth and enhance brand presence across all stores in the designated region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute regional offer strategies to drive category sales growth and enhance brand presence
  • Lead a team of Category Managers to ensure product assortments meet customer demands and align with Sephora's ambition to propose a unique omnichannel client experience
  • Co-own P&L management with countries and hubs, ensuring alignment and effective decision-making
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brands, negotiating commercial terms and driving business growth
  • Source new brands to cover white spots in our assortment and strengthen Sephora's leadership on the categories
  • Define category priorities and roadmap on all touch points in close collaboration with internal departments
  • Manage transversal projects, including trade, assortment, internal events, and premium offer
  • Negotiate with brands on yearly contracts
  • Implement and monitor processes for alignment between countries and establishment of common ways of working
Requirements
  • Strategic thinking capacity paired with analytical abilities for data-driven decision-making
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • +15 years of experience in Beauty industry or multi-brands retail with P&L accountability
  • Passion for beauty products
  • Strong leadership capability with excellent people management skills
