Europe Category Director

The Europe Category Director will be responsible for developing and executing regional offer strategies that drive category sales growth and enhance brand presence across all stores in the designated region. This individual will co-own P&L management with countries and hubs, leading a team of Category Managers to ensure product assortments meet customer demands and align with Sephora's ambition to provide a unique omnichannel client experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute regional offer strategies to drive category sales growth and enhance brand presence.
- Co-own P&L management with countries and hubs, ensuring alignment with Sephora's ambition.
- Lead a team of Category Managers to ensure product assortments meet customer demands.
- Define 360 Marketing plans for key launches, collaborating with marketing teams.
- Partner with brands on strategy, product development, and commercial terms.
- SOURCE new brands to cover white spots in our assortment and strengthen SEPHORA's leadership.
- Define category priorities and roadmap, collaborating with internal departments.
- Manage transversal projects, including trade, assortment, internal events, and premium offer.
- Negotiate with brands, implementing and monitoring processes for alignment across countries.
- Manage a team of category brand directors, group managers, and category managers.
- Strategic thinking capacity paired with analytical abilities for data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- +15 years of experience in Beauty industry or multi-brands retail with P&L accountability.
- A passion for beauty products.
- Strong leadership capability with excellent people management skills.
