YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

  • Overseeing the seamless operation of our production environment as the Incident Manager.
  • Delivering exceptional support to ensure our platform remains reliable for our clients.
  • Collaborating with engineers and customer support to identify, analyze, and resolve production challenges.
  • Implementing improvements to minimize incidents and their effects.

YOUR MISSION WILL ENCOMPASS:

  • Serving as the first line of support for alerts and monitoring systems.
  • Partnering closely with technical and product teams to facilitate smooth deployments and address any environmental irregularities.
  • Monitoring system performance to inform the product roadmap and enhance reliability.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation for processes, incident responses, and troubleshooting protocols.
  • Leading the incident response process and coordinating with cross-functional teams to swiftly resolve critical issues.
  • Conducting post-incident analyses to ensure comprehensive documentation and communication of insights for ongoing improvement.
  • Prioritizing and managing production support activities across teams to deliver advanced support for production challenges.
  • Proposing automation and streamlining initiatives to reduce manual tasks.
  • Collaborating with Delivery and Engineering leadership to enhance reliability and monitoring tools.
  • Advocating for production-centric practices within the Product and Engineering departments.

YOU MAY BE A SUITABLE CANDIDATE IF:

  • You possess over 5 years of experience in a production support role, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership capacity.
  • You demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • You have strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • You are proficient with monitoring tools and security solutions.
  • You have proven experience with container orchestration technologies.
  • You possess a solid understanding of cloud computing concepts.
  • You have basic knowledge of infrastructure automation tools.
