Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at Dedalus. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the correct accounting of invoices and bank movements, responding to requests from the Share Service Center.
  • Review balance sheets and P&L accounts and reclassify as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the management accounting team for analytical allocations.
  • Monitor supplier accounts (notably debtors, aged balance…).
  • Prepare the weekly payment campaign for suppliers.
  • Review provision accounts: letter the accounts and justify.
  • Review social debt accounts: letter the accounts and justify.
  • Review employee accounts: letter the accounts.
  • Review financial debt accounts, account for financial interest.
  • Submit VAT and other tax declarations.
  • Monthly Closing of Accounts
    • Integrate and control the payroll ODE in D365 (via Devops).
    • Prepare the monthly situation (cut-off purchases – FNP - CCA).
    • Reconcile auxiliary balances with bank statements;
    • Review supplier accounts: claim missing invoices, claim refunds for double payments.
    • End-of-month provisions (bonuses, taxes and duties, depreciation of client receivables…).
    • Control depreciation allocations.
    • Reconcile inter-company accounts.
    • Justify accounts.
    • Analyze main variations.
  • Annual Closing of Accounts
    • Assist the financial controller in their relationship with the CAC (respond to their requests).
    • Prepare the IFRS packing report.
    • Establish annual accounts and annexes.
    • Prepare the tax return.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, holding a degree in accounting (BAC+2/3 minimum). You must be familiar with French accounting standards and IFRS, and have a good understanding of taxation. You should be proficient in accounting software/ERP, ideally Dynamics D365, and Microsoft Office.

Language Skills

You should be able to work in English (oral and written).
