Key Responsibilities
Oversee offshore projects (typically EPCI or T&I Projects) in alignment with project goals, including safety, profitability, timelines, quality, and contractual obligations.
Ensure the establishment and ongoing review of HSE management systems throughout the project lifecycle. Exhibit a strong and visible commitment to BOURBON's HSE principles.
• Anticipated outcomes: Implementation of BOURBON QMS / OSM / SMS
• Performance Indicators: LTI / TRIR Risk and hazard identification assessments prior to project initiation.
During the Project Execution Phase: Assume overall responsibility for the project.
Accountable for additional project objectives: Safety, Timeliness, Quality, and Risk Management.
Represent BOURBON Subsea in interactions with clients, particularly during weekly and monthly meetings.
Lead the project team to ensure that projects meet client expectations and adhere to BOURBON subsea standards.
Develop the project execution plan and strategy.
Monitor project execution (progress, forecasts, client satisfaction, etc.).
Manage and control all subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure comprehensive project reporting to management (Finance, Operations, Quality, HSE, etc.).
During the Tender Phase (act as Bid Manager as necessary):
Responsible for crafting reliable and competitive technical and financial proposals.
Serve as the primary contact for the client during the Tender phase.
Coordinate internally with various functions (Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Contract Management, ROV department, Ship management, Local affiliates/partners, etc.).
Conduct contract reviews, risk identification, and mitigation strategies (including technical, operational, contractual, commercial, financial, insurance, etc.).
Prepare bids (technical, commercial, contractual, costing, and pricing) and ensure timely submission in accordance with internal approval processes.
Facilitate rounds of clarification and negotiation until contract award.
Ensure that lessons learned sessions are conducted and results reported as per the Lessons Learned Process.
