About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Strategic Designer to join our team at Capijobnew. As a Senior Strategic Designer, you will play a key role in helping our clients drive digital transformation and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work closely with clients to understand their key challenges and develop design strategies to address them.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform client potential and drive business growth.
  3. Design and facilitate immersion sessions using divergent design thinking techniques to conceptualize products and services.
  4. Develop and communicate ideas using design techniques, including product concepts, service models, customer journeys, and system maps.
  5. Balance customer expectations and needs with business goals, market viability, and technical feasibility.
  6. Work alongside product owners to follow Agile principles and methodology, and support in mobilization and co-facilitation of workshops with client and internal teams.
Requirements
  1. 6+ years of experience in end-to-end Strategic Design, including human-centered design activities.
  2. Strong knowledge of research methods and frameworks, user interface standards, tools, and industry guidelines.
  3. Ability to reference best practices and design patterns, and solve complex problems and novel interface challenges.
  4. Visual communication skills, using sketching and other tools to articulate thoughts about complex problems, datasets, or experimentation.
  5. Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with at least 3 of the following tools or technologies: Figma, Sketch, InVision, Principle, Framer, Adobe XD or similar prototyping tools and AfterEffects.
  6. A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates strong human-centered design capabilities and core craft skills across a variety of clients and industries.
  7. Experience working within Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
  8. Experience in translating user research and usability test findings into iterative product solutions.
  9. Demonstrated experience in research techniques and strategic/service design techniques.
  10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  11. Organizational skills, self-motivation, and resourcefulness coupled with a creative mindset, presence, and gravitas.
  12. A Bachelor or Master's degree with above-average academic performance in a design-related discipline.
