Electrical Project Manager - EIAWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Project Manager specializing in EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) to join our dynamic Projects Department within the International Contracting Division. Your expertise in electricity, instrumentation, and automation will be crucial in managing EIA-related aspects such as high-tension distribution systems, low voltage installations, neutral systems, MALT (Medium Voltage Alternating Current), instrumentation, lighting, control systems, pathway installations, underground networks, equipment sizing, and installation procedures.
Your Responsibilities- Technical and Financial Project Oversight: Coordinate with agencies and other trades to ensure projects adhere to technical specifications and budgetary constraints.
- Documentation Development and Review: Prepare electrical documentation or meticulously review external documentation provided by clients, subcontractors, and partners.
- Commercial Proposal Preparation: Contribute to the development of commercial offers and actively participate in cost estimation exercises.
- Material Procurement and Validation: Request materials, validate purchases for projects, and ensure timely delivery of essential components.
- Supplier Management: Review supplier offers, technical order files, and maintain effective communication with suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to agencies operating in Africa, assisting them with project implementation and troubleshooting.
- Technological Advancement: Contribute to technological watch initiatives by identifying innovative solutions that meet client needs while adhering to budget limitations.
This role requires regular travel to agency locations in Africa to support project development, assist with installation startups, and provide on-site project management guidance.
