D2M Services is in search of a Lead Method Engineer with expertise in structural lifting and subsea installation for an upcoming project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and determine the most suitable installation methodologies in accordance with the assigned Scope of Work.
- Develop comprehensive work procedures and detailed task plans aligned with project specifications, HSE standards, and client expectations.
- Identify components of the installation scope that require subcontracting and define the subcontractor's responsibilities.
- Compile a list of necessary equipment for the assigned activities.
- Collaborate closely with the project procurement manager to solicit tenders and assess subcontractor and supplier proposals.
- Engage in the selection process of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring the validation of technical documentation.
- Create schedules for equipment delivery and resource allocation, along with an overall activity timeline.
- Conduct technical reviews of procedures, incorporating feedback from the project and corporate technical teams.
- Coordinate with the operations engineer responsible for performance to manage interfaces and ensure operational feasibility as per established procedures.
The Method Engineer will have the opportunity to oversee operations on-site and ensure clarity in work procedures. This role includes preparing for kickoff meetings with the project team and client representatives.
During the operational phase, the Method Engineer will ensure compliance with procedures and task plans, maintaining adherence to the projected timelines. In the event of changes, the engineer will propose alternative methods and actively participate in change management processes.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an engineering school, ready for immediate engagement.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a comparable role focused on offshore lifting and subsea installation.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of offshore, marine, and subsea operations.
- Strong expertise in offshore lifting and subsea installation techniques.
- Familiarity with equipment utilized in offshore operations.
- Understanding of offshore work procedures and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Orcaflex software.
Contract Duration: 12 months
