About the Role
The Afiph, a family-run association managing establishments and services for children and adults with disabilities, is seeking a Household Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will be based at the Gâchetière Residential Unit in Voreppe, part of the Enfance Centre Isère, which provides care for children, adolescents, and young adults aged 6-20 with intellectual disabilities, autism, and other mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents, maintaining a clean and hygienic living space.
- Coordinate and perform domestic tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
- Ensure the quality and safety of food and beverages served to residents.
- Manage household supplies and equipment, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Assist residents with daily activities, such as dressing and personal care.
- Participate in resident care planning and contribute to their autonomy and independence.
Requirements
- Diploma in Household Management or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of intellectual disabilities, autism, and related conditions.
- Understanding of hygiene and asepsis protocols.
- Familiarity with HACCP standards.
