Job Summary

Afiph, a family-run organization managing establishments and services for children and adults with disabilities, is seeking a House Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the daily operations of the residential care facility, ensuring the comfort and well-being of residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement daily cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Ensure the quality and safety of the living environment for residents
  • Enforce hygiene standards and protocols
  • Manage kitchen hygiene and equipment, reporting any additional needs
  • Accompany residents with daily tasks, such as meal preparation and laundry
  • Conduct general kitchen maintenance
  • Perform household chores in common and individual areas, collaborating with residents as needed
  • Develop menus and prepare meals, working with residents when possible
  • Set the table and serve meals, encouraging residents to participate
  • Join residents for meals
  • Create a calm and welcoming atmosphere during meals, fostering communication and socialization
  • Ensure the cleanliness of common and individual areas
  • Participate in budget management and inventory control for kitchen supplies, laundry, and cleaning materials
  • Monitor food stock and ensure proper handling of perishable items
  • Manage food orders within a set budget and ensure timely restocking
  • Contribute to organizing special events and projects, such as birthdays and end-of-year celebrations
