Security Engineer, Cloud Security and Incident Response

Amazon Data Services France SAS is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our team. As a Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in automating and scaling security, while responding to security issues across the largest cloud provider in the world.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable security solutions to protect Amazon's cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Develop and maintain automated tools to improve security posture and incident response.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure timely and effective incident response.
- Drive operational excellence and efficiency in security operations.
- BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Computer Engineering, or 5+ years' equivalent technology experience.
- 3+ years experience building scalable security utilities and tools.
- 3+ years experience with web protocols and Linux/Unix tools and architecture.
- 3+ years experience in host, network, and application security.
- 2+ years experience building automated tools, preferably in Python, JavaScript, and/or Java.
- MS degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Computer Engineering, or 5+ years' equivalent technology experience.
- High degree of organisation and detail-oriented.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of internet security issues and threat landscape.
- Experience with virtualisation technologies, familiarity with AWS and GuardDuty services is highly valued.
