As part of the Dailymotion Data Product Craft team, you will collaborate with a vibrant group of over 20 dedicated data analysts and data scientists, contributing to the advancement and evolution of Dailymotion's offerings.

In your role as a data analyst, you will be integral to Dailymotion's data-centric strategy. You will work within a cross-functional team of analysts, providing essential support to product, business, and engineering teams through insightful analysis. Close collaboration with Product Managers, Monetization, Machine Learning, and Engineering teams will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Explore: Conduct exploratory analyses to uncover opportunities for business enhancement and product optimization. Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products and ecosystem.
  • Experiment: Guide the experimentation strategy tailored to specific needs and contexts. Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests.
  • Empower: Promote data utilization within the organization, training colleagues on analytical tools, and creating automated dashboards to foster stakeholder autonomy with data.
  • Measure: Assess the impact of product launches on business metrics and product performance. Track audience trends and provide explanations for observed changes.
  • Collaborate: Engage in an iterative product improvement process, working alongside product managers, designers, developers, machine learning engineers, and data engineers.
  • Communicate: Present findings through clear visualizations, engaging presentations, and concise recommendations.

Examples of Analysis Use Cases: Video recommendation models, search algorithms, supply optimization, player performance optimization.

Our Technology Stack

  • Data Lake in Google Big Query: Regularly writing complex SQL queries (with R and Python for specific tasks).
  • Tableau and Google Data Studio for data visualization and dashboard creation.
  • Internal A/B testing tool (Python-based).

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in quantitative or statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency in handling large datasets and performing analyses.
  • Experience with Machine Learning projects is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio).
  • Familiarity with R and Python for data analysis is highly valued.
  • A passion for leveraging data in a technical setting.
  • Adaptability to various tools.
  • Proactive and creative approach to data challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage projects across teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with colleagues across functions.

  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
