Finance and Administration DirectorWe are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance and Administration Director to join our client's team in Nantes. This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage all financial, accounting, and administrative operations within a thriving organization of 90 employees.
Responsibilities- Leadership and Management:
- Supervise a team of four finance and administration professionals, setting clear goals, evaluating performance, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.
- Continuously improve existing tools and processes to streamline operations.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and implement sound financial policies and procedures that align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Effectively manage cash flow, analyze budget variances, and prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial health and identify areas for improvement.
- Actively participate in the annual budget preparation process and oversee all financial communication within the organization.
- Administrative Coordination:
- Define and implement HR policies that promote a positive and productive work environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and service providers.
- Oversee general administrative services, including office management, facilities maintenance, and procurement.
- Supervise IT services to ensure the smooth operation of all technology systems.
- Strategic Support:
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management based on in-depth analysis of budgets, forecasts, and market trends.
- Conduct cost analysis and internal audits to identify areas for optimization and risk mitigation.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of progressive experience in a similar role within a dynamic organization.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
- Proven ability to analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and other financial management tools.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of finance professionals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
