Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative and Financial Director to join our client's team in Nantes. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial, accounting, and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management and Leadership
    • Lead a team of 4 people and define their objectives, evaluate their performance, and provide guidance for their professional development.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal, fiscal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Management
    • Develop and implement financial policies and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
    • Manage cash flow, analyze variances, and update financial forecasts.
    • Establish and monitor performance indicators and participate in the preparation of budgets.
    • Close financial accounts, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
    • Communicate financial information to external partners.
  • Administrative Coordination
    • Develop and implement HR policies in collaboration with the General Management and HR department.
    • Manage relationships with government agencies and experts, handle contentions, and supervise general services (hygiene, safety, new works, insurance, supplies, equipment, and contractor contracts).
    • Oversee the IT department, define resources and needs, and manage implementation and deployment projects.
    • Prepare meetings and establish meeting minutes.
  • Pilotage, Conseil et Appui Technique
    • Supervise and recommend strategic solutions for the company's financial policies.
    • Develop recommendations for the General Management on financial strategies and for operational managers on budgetary processes and operational solutions.
    • Conduct analysis and audits of costs and internal audits.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Master's degree in finance, accounting, management, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles and management tools.
    • Ability to develop and analyze financial reports and forecasts.
    • Knowledge of current tax regulations.
    • Excellent proficiency in office software, particularly accounting and management software.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
    • Results-oriented and able to manage priorities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Integrity and professional ethics.
