Financial Control Senior Manager

CMA CGM, a global leader in shipping and logistics, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Control Senior Manager to join its team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate production of monthly reports, periodic consolidated reports, and statutory reports of the shipping subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of financial processes for subsidiaries, ensuring clear split of role and responsibilities between stakeholders in regional offices, shared service centers, and local subsidiaries.
- Oversee finance projects for the financial control team, ensuring proper coordination between project managers in HO and finance teams in the network.
- Collaborate with the Internal Control Department to develop and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Define and monitor KPIs to ensure efficient accounting processes.
- Lead the implementation of new technical accounting guidance and training.
- Evaluate all significant accounting transactions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in technical accounting/finance.
- Similar position within an international corporation, such as CAC40 and SBF120 companies. Experience in audit firms (Big 4), public companies, and SOX or equivalent guidance is helpful.
- Demonstrate a strategic, focused, and collaborative approach at work.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead teams across multiple organizations and geographies.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical issues into fundamental concepts.
- Advanced understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and the ability to apply GAAP to new and existing transactions.
