Job Summary:

MACOM is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational reliability of our building equipment and environment controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop project scopes, including technical requirements, trade budgets, and construction scheduling.
  • Manage capital project financials and construction to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain capital leasehold and operating budgets within established guidelines for assigned projects.
  • Manage facility staff and plan maintenance activities in the absence of the Facility Manager.
  • Collect and analyze data on facility and operations equipment to modify maintenance plans and identify new equipment needs.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective maintenance strategies and programs to ensure business continuity.
  • Develop and implement a balance scorecard and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support the company's risk mitigation programs as outlined by the company's risk insurer.
  • Provide support to facility operations as needed to support the company for business relocation, acquisitions, and other special projects.
  • Ensure environmental, health, and safety guidelines are integrated into the facility workforce and followed.
  • Assist facilities management in various administrative roles, including managing cost-effective equipment and facility services contracts, establishing written policies and procedures, and managing personnel space planning.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to effectively approach and prioritize multiple tasks at any given time.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Previous experience with budgets and vendor negotiations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or other related field.
  • Master's degree in Facilities or Maintenance Management or other Engineering principles is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience or equivalent in industrial/commercial maintenance.
  • Computer-Aided Drafting, AutoCad preferred.
  • Microsoft Project or comparable project scheduling software.

Training Requirements:

  • Regulatory and other training requirements are site-specific and based on the facility training requirements at that location.
