In this position, you will take charge of risk management to ensure that the Bid Manager, Customer Manager, and Alstom Management possess a thorough understanding of project risks before the submission of tenders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Guaranteeing that all Risk Management-related tender requirements are fulfilled by providing essential deliverables,
  • Leading, coordinating, and consolidating risk management activities throughout the tender phase,
  • Conducting meticulous evaluations of risk provisions incorporated into tender pricing,
  • Developing and implementing risk management processes and tools within the Turnkey Bids department,
  • Promoting and advocating for a robust risk management approach within bid teams and associated entities.
  • In instances where Alstom is part of a consortium, aiding in the coordination of risk management efforts, ensuring that consortium directives are clearly understood and executed within Alstom teams, and contributing to the overall offer consolidation with partners.

We prioritize passion and attitude over extensive experience. While we do not expect you to possess every skill, we believe the following qualifications will enhance your success and growth in this role:

  • A degree from an engineering school or a Master's degree in Business Administration,
  • Strong knowledge of risk management best practices,
  • Experience in project management and/or international tender management,
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (technical managers, legal advisors, finance managers, etc.),
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English and French (mandatory), with Spanish as a plus.
