Framatome is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to engage in initiatives focused on enhancing production tools. This position requires active participation in design evaluations and oversight of projects within the manufacturing environment. The role encompasses managing technical elements, proposing and executing appropriate technical solutions, and coordinating technical interfaces across various projects. Additionally, the position involves defining and validating mechanical analyses, contributing to quality assurance processes, and managing projects from conception through to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposing and executing technical solutions
  • Coordinating technical interfaces
  • Participating in design assessments
  • Overseeing projects from conception to commissioning
  • Conducting mechanical design analyses

Further responsibilities may include supervising supplier services and project execution. Regular site visits are an integral part of this role.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering

A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering studies

Familiarity with nuclear fuel processing facilities

Strong mechanical design and technical coordination capabilities

Proficiency in English

The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, possess robust technical skills, demonstrate attention to detail, adhere to safety regulations, and work autonomously. A solid understanding of safety, security, and regulatory standards is crucial for this position.
