Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of five procurement professionals.
  • Establish performance targets, provide training, and facilitate skill enhancement for team members.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement processes and best practices across all involved parties.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and address any quality or safety concerns that may arise.
  • Formulate and oversee the department's budget, tracking and reporting on financial trends.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators for procurement, providing updates to the Management Committee.
  • Uphold strict compliance with procurement protocols.
  • Engage with various business units to advocate for optimal purchasing practices and reassess the current supplier base.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at continuous improvement in procurement processes and tools.
  • Directly manage a substantial procurement portfolio, including raw materials, intellectual services, and waste management solutions.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as technical studies, business administration, or procurement, accompanied by at least 15 years of experience in purchasing within an industrial and global context, including leadership roles. Expertise in procurement processes and contract law is essential. Proficiency in English is required.
