We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Accounting Controller to join our team at the AXA Group. As a key member of our Global Financial Reporting team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial statements and reports.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Country Account Manager in maintaining relationships with entities in their scope, focusing on investment accounting and reporting.
- Deliver statutory, regulatory, and IFRS9 financial statements, as well as all related reporting.
- Interact with the Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC) and other local and global teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting.
- Monitor end-to-end closing processes, including control frameworks, to enable sign-off of local and IFRS9 financial statements.
- Validate the quality and reliability of information disclosed, ensuring compliance with defined deadlines.
- Assist in implementing new requirements, such as local GAAP and IFRS9 rules, and contribute to process improvements.
- Analyze and implement new investment strategies in collaboration with all relevant parties.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting and financial mechanisms, with knowledge of IFRS rules and insurance principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in SAP and Magnitude a plus.
- Fluency in English, with a second language (French, Spanish, Italian, or German) an asset.
