At Lenovo, we are committed to delivering Smarter Technology for All. As a Technical Support Specialist within our Managed Service Desk team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our customers' hardware and software.

About the Role

This technical position is based in Rueil-Malmaison, France, and requires a strong understanding of Windows Operating Systems and MS Products. You will work closely with our Customer Success Management team to monitor and track issues, providing solutions and advice to ensure speedy resolution. Your expertise in troubleshooting both hardware and software across client products will be invaluable in this role.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels, written and verbal. Fluency in English and French is essential, with additional languages such as Arabic, Spanish, or Italian being a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers and field engineers by diagnosing problems remotely through effective troubleshooting and isolation.
  • Identify the cause of hardware/software faults and provide a solution.
  • Resolve issues over phone, email, or onsite via parts and engineer dispatch.
  • Work with Our Customer Success Management team to monitor and track issues to ensure speedy resolution.
  • Support our software customers via MS Cloud Solution Provider services.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in Client Technical Support roles.
  • Experience within IT Services and Working with Field Service Providers.
  • Working Knowledge on Windows Operating Systems and MS Products.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software across client products (notebooks, desktops, tablets & phones).
  • Effective communication skills at all levels - written and verbal.
  • Business Fluent French and English (additional language, Arabic, Spanish or Italian or is a huge advantage).
