About the Opportunity

At Mileway, we are excited to present a unique opportunity within our organization. As a leader in last mile logistics real estate, we have established a significant presence across Europe, boasting a diverse team of over 500 professionals in multiple countries.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Asset Manager to contribute to our expanding operations in Paris. This role is integral to our dynamic team, where collaboration with colleagues from various locations, including Lyon and Amsterdam, is essential. You will report directly to the Senior Asset Manager, playing a key role in managing our extensive French portfolio of 1.6 million square meters.

Your Role

This position is newly created, offering you the chance to define and enhance your responsibilities. You will lead the asset management strategy, overseeing lease and property management activities. Your focus will be on optimizing our asset portfolio while fostering valuable connections and strengthening our local and national partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sustainable asset management strategy for current and future properties, emphasizing effective lease management.
  • Analyze and propose recommendations for the annual budget for each asset.
  • Conduct property evaluations and review financial forecasts.
  • Prepare and approve all asset management reports.
  • Negotiate commercial lease terms and ensure their translation into formal contracts.
  • Design and manage the CAPEX plan for each asset.
  • Monitor risk criteria for each asset, identifying potential issues and alerting the management team.
  • Provide insights through comprehensive market intelligence.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance portfolio value and asset management performance.
  • Oversee all leasing activities, including renewals, rent reviews, lease terminations, and related capital expenditures.
  • Incorporate remodeling, redevelopment, and expansion plans into the overall business strategy.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with tenants.
  • Build a robust network of regional and national consultants and colleagues.
  • Select and manage external expertise as needed.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Background in logistics and light industrial sectors is particularly advantageous, though experience in retail or other asset classes is also valuable.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the last mile real estate market, with the ability to identify and act on opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to validate valuations and financial projections.
  • Fluent in French and English, with excellent communication skills.
  • A relevant university degree.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in monitoring lease performance and financial data.
  • Proficient in data management, with strong analytical, financial, and negotiation skills.
