Production Engineer Role Overview

Your Responsibilities

In your capacity as a Production Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing all stages of product industrialization. This includes:

  • Designing and defining production lines, focusing on industrial layouts, methodologies, equipment selection, resource allocation, material handling, ergonomic considerations, line capacity, and packaging solutions.
  • Utilizing AutoCAD to implement effective layout designs.
  • Overseeing supplier interactions, which involves drafting specifications, tracking development phases, conducting tests, and facilitating the transition to operational status.
  • Creating essential operational documentation, encompassing procedures, manufacturing workflows, standards, and training protocols.
  • Managing the industrial ramp-up process, which includes developing process FMEAs, executing action plans, qualifying production resources, conducting pilot runs, prototyping, balancing production lines, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in line with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Optimizing ongoing production processes to accommodate growing demands, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and contributing to continuous improvement strategies.
Candidate Profile
  • A BAC+5 Engineering degree from a reputable institution.
  • Proven experience in production management, methods, and industrialization.
  • Exhibit autonomy, attention to detail, analytical skills, and strong interpersonal communication.
