Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Installation Engineer to join our team at Applied Materials, Inc. in Europe. As an Installation Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our Installation Team and customers in installing our semiconductor equipment across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and integrate semiconductor equipment at customer sites, ensuring mechanical assembly, electrical connections, and robot calibrations are completed accurately.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Utilize existing documentation, such as electrical procedures and schematics, to perform work efficiently.
- Test equipment according to established documentation and diagnostic techniques.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce installation cycle time and costs.
- Provide accurate reports on equipment condition and non-conformities.
- Technical Diploma with experience in installation, calibration, and tools testing.
- Bachelor's or Master's University Degree in Engineering, preferably with short experience in installation.
- Strong problem-solving attitude to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
- Excellent communication skills to provide reports and participate in meetings with customers.
- Project management skills to control installation projects within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good English skills, both written and oral.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
This is a full-time position with approximately 75% travel time. The successful candidate will be based in Italy, France, or Germany and will support installations in these countries, as well as Ireland. A complete training on our equipment will be provided.
