CEVA Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to join our Global IT Data and Digital organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our business processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement an overall organizational data strategy, including data model designs, database development standards, and implementation and management of data warehouses and data analytics systems.
- Identify data sources, both internal and external, and develop a plan for data management that is aligned with our organizational data strategy.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smooth functioning of our enterprise data system.
- Manage end-to-end data architecture, from selecting the platform, designing the technical architecture, and developing the application to finally testing and implementing the proposed solution.
- Plan and execute big data solutions using appropriate technologies and ensure their full lifecycle and interoperability.
- Define and manage the flow of data and dissemination of information within the organization.
- Integrate technical functionality, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and security.
- Conduct a continuous audit of our data management system performance, refining whenever required, and reporting immediately any breaches or loopholes to stakeholders.
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience gained in data architecture and delivering large-scale analytics data platforms environments.
- Knowledge of systems development, including system development life cycle, project management approaches, requirements, design, and testing techniques.
- Proven experience in design and building data models, data domains, and understanding business data products (proficiency in data modeling and design, including SQL development and database administration).
- Understanding of predictive modeling, AI models and technologies, data mining, visualization, and machine learning.
- Ability to implement common data management and reporting technologies, as well as the basics of columnar and NoSQL databases, data visualization, unstructured data, and predictive analytics.
- Strong and broad knowledge of latest technology stacks and trends, cloud-based data platforms and data lakes (preferably AWS and Snowflake technologies).
- Experience with data integration methods and technologies (e.g., ETL, Data Virtualization, Master Data Management, Data Warehouse/Lakehouse).
- Fluent English and proven practice.
- Permanent contract.
- Hybrid work: 4 days at the office and 1 remote.
