Position Overview:
Babilou Family, a prominent player in the family services sector, has expanded its operations internationally since its inception in 2003. With a focus on both B2B and B2C models, the organization now spans 12 countries and operates over 1100 facilities dedicated to supporting families. The company is structured around seven regional and cultural hubs to enhance resource sharing and implement best practices.
As part of our dynamic Finance Department, you will play a pivotal role in our growth journey. We are seeking a Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Controlling Manager to join our multicultural finance team. Your primary responsibility will be to structure, analyze, and forecast the financial activities of the group. Reporting directly to the Group Controller and overseeing a senior analyst, you will be tasked with producing accurate reports that ensure the financial stability and expansion of Babilou Family. Your insights will be crucial for the management and shareholders in making informed operational and financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support operational services and the Executive Committee in managing activities within budgetary and governance frameworks.
- Deliver essential analyses for the operational and strategic management across various countries.
- Engage actively in cross-functional development initiatives and optimize activities.
- Guarantee the accuracy of financial documentation for stakeholders, including shareholders and investors.
Role Duties:
The Group FP&A analyst serves as a vital liaison for all operational departments and international subsidiaries. In collaboration with the CFO teams, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing monthly closing processes.
- Summarizing performance in monthly reports for communication with various departments and stakeholders.
- Developing and monitoring budgets to contribute to achieving organizational goals.
- Creating, developing, and maintaining financial models to assess the group's financial outcomes.
- Conducting ad-hoc analyses to improve operational performance across different regions.
- Presenting analytical findings and offering recommendations to the General Manager and CFOs of Babilou Family and country heads.
- Contributing to the redesign of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) to enhance budgeting and forecasting processes.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in audit or corporate financial analysis/control, ideally within a Big Four environment.
A solid understanding of the FP&A process, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis is essential, particularly in leveraged buyout (LBO) structures.
We seek a self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize information are critical for success in this role.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required, along with advanced Excel capabilities.
