Job Title: Data Center Operations Manager

At Syensqo, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our on-premises data centers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and security of our data center services, managing technical staff, and coordinating with various departments to meet our data processing and storage needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of on-premises data centers
  • Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of all systems and infrastructure
  • Schedule and supervise maintenance and upgrade activities
  • Monitor data center capacity and performance
  • Conduct regular tests to ensure the effectiveness of our plans
  • Implement and oversee security policies and procedures
  • Develop and manage the data center budget
  • Provide regular reports on data center operations, performance metrics, and project status
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications a plus
  • Experience in managing complex technology migrations and lifecycle management
  • Project management skills to plan and execute data-related projects
  • Agile or other project management methodologies experience a plus
  • Certifications related to data center management
