Senior Insurance Linked Securities Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Alternative Credit team as a Senior Insurance Linked Securities Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and pricing insurance linked securities, as well as monitoring natural catastrophes and their impact on counterparties.
Key Responsibilities- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on insurance linked securities in the primary market and organize investment committees with the ILS team, risk management, and traders.
- Select a pool of similar assets to price new deals and monitor secondary market activities for potential investment opportunities.
- Extract information on natural catastrophes and losses for reinsurers and the market using web scraping, text mining, and NLP techniques.
- Get reports on ILS instruments using web scraping, extract data, perform data cleaning and formatting, and import it into the Ouranos front office tool.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in math, physics, finance, actuarial science, or computer science. Proven experience in quantitative analysis in an insurance, asset management, or financial markets environment is essential. You should be efficient, proactive, well-organized, and have high attention to detail. Excellent communication and presentation skills are also required.
