## Job Title: Senior Meetings and Groups Account Manager

## Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Meetings and Groups Account Manager to join our team at HRS. As a key member of our Meetings and Groups department, you will be responsible for supporting event planners and meeting & groups bookers in sourcing, booking, planning, and paying for their meeting and group projects.

## Key Responsibilities

* Review meeting and group requests to ensure accurate and efficient processing
* Provide exceptional customer service to event planners and meeting & groups bookers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Utilize HRS technology to source, book, plan, and pay for meetings and groups, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding customer expectations
* Negotiate rates and conditions with hotels to secure the best possible deals for our clients
* Achieve benchmarking metrics as per client or company requirements, driving business growth and revenue
* Participate in program re-negotiations or cancellation negotiations as required
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
* Collaborate with internal teams to drive event planners to raise online adoption and self-service use of the meeting & groups service
* Lead a team of Account Managers Meetings & Groups in France and Southern Europe, providing guidance and support to ensure team success

## Requirements

* Commercial education and experience in the meeting & groups, conferences, and/or booking departments within the hospitality industry
* Strong knowledge of the hotel industry and meeting & groups standards
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and clients
* Fluency in French and English, spoken and written
* Empathy, authenticity, integrity, commitment, resilience, respect, and tact in dealing with stakeholders
