The Renewable Energy Project Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa will play a key role in developing large-scale renewable energy projects abroad. This position requires a strong understanding of renewable energies, excellent interpersonal and writing skills, and proficiency in standard IT tools and planning software.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop projects from pre-feasibility to construction, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations.
- Design economically viable projects, collaborating with local stakeholders and experts.
- Obtain or supervise the obtaining of administrative authorizations and ensure their follow-up.
- Lead and coordinate feasibility studies, including environmental impact assessments and technical sizing studies.
- Contribute to the search for third-party financiers, obtain financing terms, and finalize all necessary documents.
- Manage and coordinate local partners or co-developers, ensuring effective relationships.
- Participate in technical, regulatory, and commercial prospective monitoring, building a network and identifying calls for tenders.
- Prepare and write responses to project calls, defend them, and organize the company's positioning.
- Report on activity via periodic reports and tracking tools.
- Establish Project Forecast Budgets and Business Plans in conjunction with Group services.
- Engineering or Master's degree in Environment, Economics, or a related field, with significant experience in developing large-scale renewable energy projects abroad.
- Professional proficiency in English is essential.
- Strong knowledge of renewable energies, good interpersonal and writing skills, and proficiency in standard IT tools and planning software.
