Project Manager for MES

As a Project Manager for MES, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of customer projects, guaranteeing customer satisfaction. Your role will involve providing pre-sales support, assessing project needs, planning, staffing, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage project plans and scope throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and provide guidance to the project team.
- In charge of project P&L: drive all associated activities and resources to guarantee the committed quality, margin, and scheduling criteria.
- Ensure maximum reuse of existing Best Practices.
- Establish appropriate actions and plans to guarantee Confidentiality and IP protection.
- Optimize resource utilization on the scope of the project.
- Anticipate and communicate about project risks and issues, propose and manage recovery/resolution plans.
- Ensure gates respect and quality for deliverables.
- Manage escalation when needed, and monitors progress of required actions at higher level.
- Monitor purchases and expenses.
- Prepare/update the business forecast and ensure consistency with information system.
- Monitors project activities in relation with the contract, manage deviations internally and with the customer, and propose contract amendments when relevant.
- Manage relations with Subcontractors and/or Partners for the scope of project activities.
- Communicate new business opportunities identified during project execution.
- Propose margin optimization options for the project: automation, optimization of the project team.
At Project Closure:
- Capitalize on project deliverables such as Best Practices to ensure reusability.
- Produce the lessons learnt during the project closure phase.
Requirements:
- Over 5 years experience in Project Management as a vendor.
- Capability to manage 10 members volume project.
- Experience in manufacturing implementation project as a project management.
- Experience in one of the following product implementation projects: SAP (PP/MM/APO), ERP (Production Area), MES, WMS, APS.
- Certification of Project Management (PMP).
- English read & write skillset.
- Bachelor degree.
- Available for business trips (1-2 days/week - depends on the project).
- Aspirations to improve your skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Programming experience.
- Database knowledge.
