Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receiving Agent to join our team at SLS Dubai Hotel and Residences, a luxury lifestyle 5-star city hotel under the Accor group umbrella.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect deliveries of goods, verifying quantities and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Accurately document deliveries and update inventory records in a timely manner.
- Organize and store incoming inventory in designated storage areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including conducting regular stock counts and communicating with suppliers and internal departments regarding delivery discrepancies or quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the receiving area and report any issues or concerns to the purchasing manager or relevant department heads.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a receiving clerk or similar role in a hotel or related industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately inspect and document deliveries.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
