Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced events manager to join our team in France. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and delivering high-quality events that further the mission of ULI Europe and the France National Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute all logistical aspects of event planning, including budgeting, budget management, and tracking finances.
  • Oversee relationships with third-party contractors and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Input to the programming aspects of events by working with colleagues across ULI Europe and globally, National Council committee members, to identify speakers and align content with ULI France's program of work.
  • Handle and attend all meetings logistics before, during, and after each event.
  • Work strategically to streamline the delivery of events and maximize membership growth for ULI France.
Requirements
  • Experience in events management, including content, marketing, coordination, and accounting.
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities and adapt quickly to shifting duties and responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and follow up with final details.
  • Self-directed and resourceful, with the ability to initiate tasks and assume responsibility for them.
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers and managing budgets.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision to produce a high-quality product and a successful outcome.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the real estate industry and key players is a plus, but not required.
  • Fluent in French and proficient in English, both written and spoken.
