Electrical Engineer - Train Development

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Train Development team in Paris Saint-Ouen. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical engineering deliverables of our train projects, including diagrams, apparatus, and routing. You will work closely with our Electrical Center of Excellence in Toulouse to define the electrical baseline and input data for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the carry-over definition, fixed cost, and associated workload for electrical deliverables.
  • Define the electrical architecture of the train, including content of electrical cubicles, localization inside the train, circuit-breaker, and cable sizing.
  • Responsible for electrical deliverables, including diagrams, apparatus, and routing.
  • Interface with other métiers, including Train System, Train Design, Train Control, RAMS, and EMC expert.
  • Lead design and deliverable reviews.
  • Ensure follow-up with the technical project manager.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the electrical domain.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in the field of electrical installation and architecture on a train or other products of aeronautic, automotive, naval, industrial equipment sectors.
  • Strong projects and functional management experience.
  • Good knowledge of harness design, manufacturing, and industrialization, electrical architecture (functions), and systems of trains.
  • Ideal experience with electrical CAD (E3S/Catia EHI).
  • Strong international exposure and good English communication and multicultural openness.
