About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Director to join our team in the Africa/Middle East/Central Asia (AMECA) region. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, managing and supporting the region's accounting network, and monitoring the application of Alstom's accounting roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure strict local compliance with laws and regulations
  • Coordinate audit processes and statutory accounts
  • Manage the AMECA accounting network and community
  • Implement Alstom's accounting roadmap within the region
  • Provide accounting support and expertise to business partners
  • Play a central role in Group Accounting coordination
Requirements
  • ~10-15 years of experience in Finance positions
  • ~ Senior management experience in an audit firm or financial department of a large group, with IFRS expertise and project accounting experience
  • ~ Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for listed companies and accounting practices within large groups
  • ~ Proven abilities in managing and accounting for long-term contracts
  • ~ Leadership skills to manage and develop teams
  • ~ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • ~ Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment
