Capital and Business Risk Management Expert

The Enterprise Risk Manager - Capital and Business Risk Management will have a cross-functional view of the Group's risk profile and how the risks impact the internal capital trajectory. As a 2LoD specialist for Capital and Business risk, you will specialize in regulatory topics, solvency ratios, the Basel environment, and will be responsible for building a vision independent of that of the Finance Department on the Group's capital position (current and projected in the medium term).
You will participate in various Group committees and familiarize yourself with the methods and tools of the Financial Department, thereby providing and documenting a critical opinion ("Independent challenge") on the deliverables of the first line of defense. This role entails monitoring the impacts of main regulatory developments and participation in Group remediation projects on the subject (CRR, SREP, ICAAP/ILAAP, etc.).
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and expectations.
- Lead and drive in autonomy critical reviews and challenges of ICAAP deliverables (mainly produced by Finance) as a 2LoD opinion on components such as Governance, Capital Adequacy, Capital planning, and Capital Stress testing scenarios and methodology.
- Work on interactions between ICAAP/ILAAP and other strategic processes (RAS, risk identification process, risk materiality) to encompass SREP requirements.
- Participate in the development of the stress testing framework (with focus on capital and liquidity): ensure compliance with Société Générale Group guidelines and work closely with 1LoD to ensure consistency with ICAAP & ILAAP frameworks.
- Challenge assumptions and decisions relating to Stress Test scenarios concerning Budget, Capital, and Liquidity to ensure sound capital and liquidity management.
- Coordinate the annual update of Stress Testing Framework, including the Stress Testing Scenario Development and develop Ayvens' ability to review and challenge Integrated Stress Testing results.
- Knowledge of prudential regulations (CRRIII, CRDIV, Basel, Solvency, etc.) and ability to translate regulatory requirements for implementation within various strategic processes and projects.
- Participate in Annual and quarterly reporting for supervisory management.
- Draft and implement Capital and Stress Test framework and policies.
- Write propositions, 2LOD opinions, and synthesize notes for Senior Management and Regulators.
- Drive and participate in complex projects, such as CRD IV gap analysis, with various stakeholders and share and defend the viewpoint of ERM as a 2nd line of defense.
