About the Role:

As a Senior Game Designer at Paradox Interactive, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging game experiences for our mobile strategy games. You will work closely with the Game Director and development team to create innovative gameplay mechanics, features, and LiveOps content. Your expertise in economic design and collaboration with the marketing department will help drive F2P monetization and improve key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop design documentation
  • Collaborate with developers on technical prototypes
  • Define the balancing and progression of a F2P mobile game
  • Contribute to the implementation of monetization strategies (ads & in-app) and player retention
  • Implement design configurations through Unity / Git
  • Test gameplay and functionality
  • Monitor and supervise the development of features
  • Work as a team and communicate clearly with the rest of the team

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Game Designer
  • Experience with released games (mobile or F2P)
  • Creative and innovative while remaining attentive to the team and the target player community
  • Sensitive to issues related to User Experience and accessibility on mobile
  • Aware of technical feasibility and production constraints
  • Versatile, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Organized, rigorous, and autonomous while maintaining excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external teams
  • Curious and possesses strong analytical skills, staying informed about new developments and trends in mobile gaming

Additional Qualifications:
  • Good knowledge of mobile games, especially city builders and management games
  • Passion for aviation (AvGeek)
  • Experience with Live Ops in a game
