About the Role

Ceva Logistics is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global BD Sector Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Ground & Rail business development organization, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue in this critical area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement market business strategies to achieve growth targets in Ground & Rail.
  • Collaborate with regional and local business development teams to ensure adequate coverage and support.
  • Deliver product training to specialized Ground BD teams and facilitate CEVA product synergies and upsell.
  • Connect with all business development teams to ensure target accounts and opportunity qualification is aligned with product strategy and priorities.
  • Support key account management teams with strategic approach, product expertise, and value proposition.
  • Promote existing and support development of sector-specific capabilities within Ground & Rail.
  • Lead Smart Solution programs to enable knowledge transfer across countries and regions.
  • Promote up-sell across regions and products, especially Contract Logistics.
  • Be the voice of the customer to operations and escalate critical resolution items that represent a risk to the business in Ground & Rail.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in logistics, business, or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • 10 years' experience in senior management within Ground & Rail.
  • Proven track record in leading the development and implementation of market business strategies.
  • Experience working across multiple geographies.
  • In-depth knowledge of the international logistics industry.
  • Deep expertise in developing integrated supply chain and logistics solutions relevant in Ground & Rail.
  • Process-driven and always seeking continuous improvement.
  • Mature judgment and decision-making.
  • Leading and developing teams in Ground & Rail.
  • Strong and entrepreneurial spirit in Ground & Rail.
