Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Trust and Safety Specialist German to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for developing subject matter expertise on online abuse, investigating user safety incidents, and applying internal policy guidelines and enforcement actions accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise on online abuse and safety
  • Investigate user safety incidents and apply internal policy guidelines and enforcement actions
  • Escalate and handle high-risk incidents, applying critical thinking and risk assessment
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and user policies
  • Monitor live streams in real-time and take appropriate actions for user behavior that violates guidelines
  • Assist with training and learning development for the safety team
  • Communicate new trends and insights on the app to the team
  • Suggest ideas and projects to improve Yubo's safety product
Requirements

Professional background:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in safety or moderation
  • Must have safety or moderation experience
  • Nice to have: customer support experience

Specific knowledge:

  • Required languages: German (C1/C2) and English (B2)
  • Fluent in German culture and pop culture/Gen Z
  • Understanding of social networks and online safety

Soft skills:

  • Analytical skills and ability to evaluate situations in context
  • Ability to make quick decisions and adapt to changing situations
  • Team player with strong communication skills
