Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in [Location]. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of OEM and commercial supply accounts, driving growth and revenue through strategic relationships and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of OEM and commercial supply accounts, developing and executing strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer sites, understanding their business needs and developing solutions to meet those needs.
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales targets, including identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to pursue them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business plans.
  • Provide market intelligence and insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities to leverage Thermo Fisher Scientific's capabilities and expertise to drive growth and revenue.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, with a focus on OEM and commercial supply.
  • Proven track record of success in driving growth and revenue through strategic relationships and business development.
  • Strong understanding of the scientific instrumentation and reagents market, with knowledge of key trends and developments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on results and a willingness to take calculated risks.
