About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Security Officer to join our IT team at ProductLife Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our digital assets and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Assessment and Risk Management: Conduct thorough assessments of our existing security posture, identifying vulnerabilities, potential threats, and areas where security practices are lacking. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure the security of our digital assets.
- Security Policy and Procedure Development: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Incident Response and Management: Develop and implement incident response plans to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents. Conduct forensic analysis to determine the cause of incidents and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with IT teams, including network administrators, system administrators, and software developers, to ensure a cohesive approach to security. Communicate security risks and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure that our IT practices comply with relevant laws and regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in information security and IT compliance roles, with a strong understanding of security principles and compliance requirements.
- Skills and Certifications: Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, experience with security technologies and tools, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
