Role ResponsibilitiesIn your capacity as the People & Culture Leader, you will be instrumental in overseeing recruitment, training, development, and employee relations, ensuring high engagement levels while aligning with business objectives. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Advising leadership on employee relations, policies, and recruitment strategies.
- Leading annual and cyclical HR activities such as salary and performance reviews, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Implementing strategies to enhance the employee experience and utilizing data analytics to inform decision-making.
- Developing, reviewing, and monitoring HR policies and procedures.
- Supporting Portfolio HR initiatives and assisting in the communication of these programs.
- Creating an inclusive workplace environment that reflects organizational values.
The ideal candidate will work closely with leaders, providing guidance and coaching on best practices tailored to business needs. This hands-on role requires delivering impactful results and fostering innovation through ongoing improvement initiatives.
We seek an enthusiastic and experienced leader with creative insights, exceptional communication abilities, and a strong commitment to excellence. Your commercial awareness will ensure alignment between people practices and business goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and project deliverables.
- Knowledge of the Australian industrial relations framework and experience with award interpretation.
- Confidence in engaging with individuals at all organizational levels.
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline is highly regarded.
- Previous experience in a similar HR role is also valued.
