Team and Context:
The Presales team serves as a vital link within the organization, bridging marketing, sales/business development, and product teams.
The primary objective is to equip sales personnel with the necessary support and insights to effectively demonstrate to clients why our solutions are the optimal choice.
Your Role:
As an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Consultant, you will manage a diverse portfolio of accounts across the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa).
You will be part of a growing team dedicated to supporting business development efforts in EMEA, and occasionally in other regions, to attract new clients and expand existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify new business opportunities alongside the sales team; comprehend client needs and align them with Murex solutions and future developments; identify potential gaps and risks.
- Coordinate with various teams to respond to RFI/RFPs, sometimes taking the lead on significant new ERM opportunities, and deliver comprehensive responses.
- Prepare and present compelling demonstrations of the MX.3 solution to prospective and current clients, emphasizing ERM and regulatory aspects relevant to banking operations.
- These presentations may vary from single sessions to extensive workshops, engaging a diverse audience, including IT professionals, risk managers, and C-Level executives.
- Monitor industry trends and provide the product team with valuable feedback from product presentations.
- Contribute to the risk solution industrialization and automation team by working on demo configurations, scripts, use cases, documentation, presentations, and pricing/catalog descriptions for risk solutions.
- Participate in team meetings to stay updated on global opportunities and share insights with colleagues; engage in internal training.
- Collaborate with the Murex Marketing team to develop ERM documentation and analyze the competitive landscape, utilizing your experience with other vendors' risk products.
- Work alongside the Murex Go-to-Market (GTM) team to promote new ERM business solutions or enhancements to existing offerings, serving as the Pre-Sales expert within the broader GTM team.
- Occasionally represent Murex at risk conferences and seminars to promote thought leadership in the market.
Your Profile:
- Comprehensive understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) principles.
- Proven experience in supporting risk, trading, or treasury functions within banks or financial institutions, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge and expertise in areas such as Value-at-Risk (VaR), Stress Testing, Counterparty Risk, Limits, and Regulations (including SA-CCR and FRTB). Familiarity with topics like xVA (CVA, FVA, MVA, KVA) and Initial Margin calculation methods (SIMM, Schedule-based) is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with software configuration and demo script enhancement, along with a technical understanding of the platform.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in English is essential.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability to varying presales cycles and timelines.
- Strong sense of responsibility and high motivation.
- Willingness to travel within Europe and the Middle East, typically involving a few days of travel per month.
