About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team at Waters Corporation. As a Sales Account Manager for Chemistry Products, you will be responsible for managing a territory of varied accounts, focusing on sales of Chemistry consumables and automation systems in the Eastern France and French-speaking part of Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the health of your current territory by approaching new and existing customers, conducting customer visits, delivering workshops on customer sites, and providing technical advice to customers reviewing their chemistry needs.
  • Review your pipeline by assessing YTD figures, reviewing contracts due to expire or renew, responding to inbound requests, and answering public or private tenders.
  • Assess future pipeline by evaluating customers who are analyzing their chemistry processes and how Waters chemistry consumables can support their improvements.
  • Create a business plan aligned with the corporate strategy and implement it.
  • Follow-up on marketing activities using in-person visits, phone calls, or teleconference calls.
  • Report your activities in our CRM system and maintain the customer database.
Requirements
  • You may have worked in a lab previously developing methods or had a sales position and be familiar with chemistry workflows and applications.
  • Knowledge and relevant qualification in Analytical Chemistry or Biology with knowledge of Liquid Chromatography and Sample Preparation (Master level or equivalent).
  • A proactive individual committed to customer service and passionate about making processes more efficient and reliable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to support customers in addressing their chemistry challenges.
  • Good team spirit and the ability to work in collaboration with several partners in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Motivated, autonomous, self-organized, and willing to learn.
  • French as a native language is required, and a good level of English is necessary.
  • Valid driving license.
