Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Scientist to join our team and drive the development of our conversational AI technology. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced machine learning models to improve the relevance and quality of our profile suggestions and user interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deploy classification, indexing, and feature detection models to enhance the accuracy of our profile suggestions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, particularly in conversational AI and computer vision, to prototype and evaluate models for our specific use cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy models into production, monitor their performance, and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal functionality.
- Design and implement engaging user experiences, combining LLMs, custom models, and APIs to recognize the limitations of LLMs and ensure they are not the default solution for all needs.
- Master's or PhD in a relevant science field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or Developer working on AI/ML products.
- Proven experience working with Conversational AI technologies, chatbots, or similar applications.
- Familiarity with ML computer vision knowledge, including Clip and equivalent ML vision algorithms.
- NLP Proficiency, including familiarity with NLP techniques such as word2vec, embeddings, vector databases, sentiment analysis, and expertise in advanced ChatGPT prompting.
- Agile and Adaptive, comfortable working in an early-stage company environment, with the ability to pivot, restart from scratch, and iterate quickly when necessary.
- Domain Passion, with a strong interest in the social, consumer, or dating industry.
- Conversational AI Enthusiast, passionate about integrating conversational AI into everyday applications to enhance user experiences.
