Key Account Manager/ Sales Engineer Aerospace Europe

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and monitor customer plans and division objectives, achieving sales and gross margin ambitions.
  • Build relationships and make customer visits to discuss common goals, achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Promote the strengths and capabilities of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in targeted growth markets.
  • Develop new requests for quotations and monitor performances versus the target area and the market segment.
  • Work closely with internal customer service teams to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate pricing agreements and build and manage customer price lists in line with the business strategy.
  • Be responsible for payment of customer's invoices and actively participate in cash collection.
  • Manage customer account creation and analyze sales performance, and prepare sales budgets.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering or industry-relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in Account Management or Territory Sales and an attitude that is key to success.
  • Proven track record of developing new business and closing deals; meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to work independently and frequently travel to customers and prospects in the region.
  • Highly self-motivated, strong account management and relationship-building skills; SAP system skills are a plus.
  • Able to travel up to 50% within and outside the assigned region, efficient time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in French and English, a third European language is a plus.
