Position Summary: As the Asset Manager, you will oversee a diverse range of contractors and coordinate all asset management functions within the country. Your primary goal will be to ensure optimal asset performance, adherence to budgetary constraints, and effective risk management throughout the operational lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate operational readiness for asset integration.
- Collaborate with local stakeholders and international teams to ensure comprehensive understanding and management of operational factors.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations, alongside the company's established standards and procedures.
- Work closely with the Onshore Wind, Solar & Battery Asset Management team to:
- Prepare for the transition of new assets into operational status.
- Guarantee seamless integration of new assets into the existing operational fleet, participating in critical gate reviews throughout the project lifecycle, particularly during commissioning and handover phases.
- Manage assets in accordance with health and safety regulations, local laws, and contractual commitments.
- Assist in the implementation of asset management standards and procedures.
- Mitigate operational risks, manage costs effectively, and enhance performance.
- Execute the annual business plan at the site level.
Location: This role is based in France, focusing primarily on managing the company's assets within the country, including wind farms, substations, and other renewable initiatives, while also providing support for asset management in other relevant regions.
Travel Requirements: Regular travel within France and occasional trips to the UK and other countries in the portfolio will be necessary.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel both locally and internationally as required.
- Valid driving license.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Strong understanding of the renewable energy landscape in France, including key market players.
- Extensive experience in asset management within the renewable energy sector (wind and/or solar) in France.
- Proven track record in onboarding and transitioning new assets.
- Solid knowledge of contractual management, including navigating long-term service agreements and stakeholder management.
- Experience in operational strategy, planning, and budgeting.
- Commercial awareness with a focus on business objectives and team alignment.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is between €65,000 and €70,000, complemented by a performance-related bonus, health insurance, transportation allowances, and meal vouchers.
Employment Type: This is a full-time position with potential for remote work options.
