Claims Handler Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Handler to join our team at The Emerald Group. As a Claims Resolution Expert, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating claims, maintaining relationships with external parties, and advising the Claims Executive on organizational issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate claims to determine the extent of liability and potential losses.
- Maintain relationships with external parties, including clients, brokers, lawyers, and other adjusters.
- Advise the Claims Executive on organizational issues within the team.
- Provide internal support for Claims Handler questions and claims-related issues.
- In the absence of the Claims Executive, authorize outgoing correspondence related to claims.
- Share an evening/weekend shift and replace absent colleagues.
Requirements:
- Higher education in maritime law and/or practical experience in navigation/operational transport.
- Demonstrable significant experience in claims management in the field of marine insurance.
