Louvre Hotels Group is a leading player in the global hospitality industry, with a portfolio of over 1,700 hotels in 60 countries. Our comprehensive hotel offer ranges from 1 to 5 stars, with brands such as Première Classe, Hosho, Kyriad Direct, Kyriad, Campanile, Tulip, Golden Tulip, Royal Tulip, and the 5 brands of the Sarovar network in India, as well as the French group Hôtels & Préférence.
As an International Financial Controller, you will be responsible for controlling and coordinating the accounts of several Group companies in an international and fast-paced hospitality environment. You will work closely with regional offices in Asia, South America, and Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financials, including closing, audits, tax issues, and consolidation.
- Support financial performance analysis, including reporting, business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Act as the internal point of contact for internal departments and third parties, including accounting firms, auditors, and tax experts.
- Statutory accounts and coordination: act as a reference for accounting and tax with internal and overseas players, carry out analytical work in support of consolidation, and coordinate the production of quarterly consolidation reports.
- Closing monitoring: supervise monthly closings, reconcile P&L and Balance sheet balances, justify accounts up to the net income, and confirm Intercompany balances.
- Audit and compliance: monitor the internal control framework and provide support for the annual audit plan, ensuring a satisfactory level of compliance with Group finance and operating processes.
- Due diligence: assist with financial workings related to assets/M&A operations, including mergers, disposals, and restructuring.
- Internal control: optimize accounting organization and business processes.
- Structuring: optimize impacts and financial flows for new acquisitions or asset deals.
- Financial analysis: participate in various analyses of actual variances versus reporting cycles to track business performance and identify potential trends.
- Budget: support the FP&A team and Operations Departments with budget, forecast, business plan, or strategic plan workings.
- EPM project: gain knowledge on financial and group reporting tools by contributing to the EPM project to develop insightful performance dashboards for the Group finance community.
- Management support: help the FP&A Team prepare supporting materials for Board members and Shareholders, ensuring data accuracy and analytics, respecting processes and deadlines.
- Ad-hoc requests: assist the FP&A team with special requests.
You will have at least 5 years of significant initial experience in auditing/consultancy firms. You have developed an ability to understand business issues and complex financial flows, translating them into finance processes. You are looking for a new challenge within a dynamic and fast-growing international group.
- Good interpersonal/presentation skills, with the ability to manage workload to meet realistic targets and priorities set in conjunction with management.
- Ability to provide recommendations and advice on improvements needed.
- Effective communication with strong skills to adapt formulations to the audience.
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- Excel and Powerpoint.
- Oracle BFC/Magnitude/Oracle PBCS.
- Advanced English (B2 to C1 level).
