Job Description

As a key member of the Expeditors team, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and development through strategic account management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Penetrate Organizational Structures: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at all levels of client organizations.
  • Understand Client Business: Analyze clients' business strategies and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Communicate Service Issues: Effectively communicate service issues to department managers and supervisors.
  • Identify Business Opportunities: Proactively identify opportunities for business growth and development.
  • Manage Client Profiles: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client profiles in the CRM system.
  • Build Territory Maps: Develop and maintain territory maps to track client locations and account activity.
  • Provide Technical Updates: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies to provide technical updates to clients.
  • Coordinate Account Visits: Collaborate with departments to coordinate joint account visits and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Turn Over Business Opportunities: Identify and turn over business opportunities to sales and operational teams.
  • Manage Business Reviews: Conduct regular business reviews to ensure client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuously Improve: Seek opportunities to improve procedures and services to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • University or equivalent business qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in business development or a related field
  • Proven track record of business growth and development
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in French and English
